“The Italian Centre of Adlerian Studies is an affiliate of The North American Society of Adlerian Psychology (NASAP). NASAP, as a co-sponsor of this conference, maintains responsibility for all content. NASAP is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors (NCC) and by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer education for psychologist. We adhere to NBCC and APA Continuing Education Guidelines”.

On behalf of NASAP, I bring greetings to you and best wishes for your first annual conference of the Italian Centre of Adlerian Studies. I am honored to be able to address your group in this manner and only wish I could be with you in person.
As many of you already know, NASAP, the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology, is a professional organization that advances the understanding and development of Individual Psychology. It also promotes effective approaches to living based on the ideas of Alfred Adler. The organization was founded in 1952 under the leadership of Dr. Rudolf Dreikurs. Today, NASAP exists as a meeting place for educational, psychological, psychiatric, counseling and pastoral care professionals of diverse orientations. In addition, NASAP encourages the active and equal participation of parents, families, and community members.
NASAP promotes the teachings of Alfred Adler through its journals, newsletters, annual conference, associated training opportunities, and local affiliate organizations. NASAP is proud that it has 22 affiliates in North America and 2 in Europe! I am thrilled that your group is one of the two affiliates from Europe and applaud all of Ugo Sodini's hard work in developing the affiliate and this first annual conference! This undertaking, in my mind, is a measure of social feeling - the capacity for cooperation and contribution.
I wish you well on this occasion of your first conference and hope each of you takes with you at least one new idea, technique or attitude that will serve you well in either your personal or professional life. Thanks so much for this opportunity to be with each of you in this way.
